What is EnkripsiPC Ransomware?

EnkripsiPC is a ransomware that was first seen in the wild in March 2019. This ransomware will encrypt your files and then demand a ransom be paid to decrypt them. EnkripsiPC will append the “.encrypted” extension to files, its encrypts. For example, a file named “sample.jpg” would become “sample.jpg.encrypted”. Once EnkripsiPC has encrypted your files, it will drop a ransom note named “ReadMe-Encrypted-Files.txt” in each folder that contains encrypted files. This ransom note will contain instructions on how to pay the ransom and decrypt your files. EnkripsiPC is currently being distributed through email attachments and malicious websites. It is important to note that EnkripsiPC is still under active development and may continue to evolve.

What types of files does EnkripsiPC Ransomware encrypt?

EnkripsiPC will encrypt a wide variety of files on your computer. This includes common file types, such as documents, images, and videos. EnkripsiPC will also encrypt less common file types, such as databases and backups.

What encryption methods does EnkripsiPC use?

EnkripsiPC uses the AES-256 and RSA-2048 encryption algorithms to encrypt your files. This type of encryption is very strong and there is no known way to decrypt your files without paying the ransom.

How much does EnkripsiPC ransom cost?

The amount of the ransom varies depending on how EnkripsiPC is configured, but it is typically between 1 and 2 Bitcoin. The price may increase or decrease over time as the value of Bitcoin changes. EnkripsiPC will give you a discount if you pay the ransom within 24 hours.

This ransomware accepts payments in Bitcoin, Litecoin, Ethereum, and Monero.

Should I pay the EnkripsiPC ransom?

We do not recommend paying the EnkripsiPC ransom. There is no guarantee that you will receive a decryption key even if you do pay the ransom. Additionally, paying the ransom will only encourage the attackers to continue developing and distributing EnkripsiPC.

How can I protect myself from EnkripsiPC?

There are several things you can do to protect yourself from EnkripsiPC and other ransomware infections:

– Keep your operating system and software up to date: Outdated software often contains security vulnerabilities that malware can exploit. Make sure you are always using the latest version of your operating system and software programs.

– Use a reputable antivirus program: Antivirus programs can detect and remove EnkripsiPC and other malware from your computer. We recommend using a program like Malwarebytes Anti-Malware.

– Do not open email attachments from people you do not know or trust.

– Only visit websites that you trust and avoid clicking on links or ads on untrustworthy websites.

– Be careful what files you download from the Internet, especially if they come from untrustworthy sources.

– Back up your files: EnkripsiPC and other ransomware infections can cause irreparable damage to your files. Be sure to back up your files regularly to avoid losing important data.

What should I do?

If attackers have infected you with EnkripsiPC ransomware, it is important to take immediate action. The only way to recover your files is to restore them from a backup. If you do not have a backup, you may be able to use data recovery software to recover some of your files.

We built SalvageData data recovery software to help you.

Is there a public EnkripsiPC decryptor?

EnkripsiPC is a new ransomware, so there is currently no public decryptor available.

How can I remove EnkripsiPC?

You can use an anti-malware program like Malwarebytes Anti-Malware to remove it from your computer.

We recommend seeking professional help as soon as possible. Trying to remove EnkripsiPC on your own can do more harm than good.
