Free RAID Calculator
RAID (Redundant Array of Independent Disks) is a technology that combines multiple disk drive components into a logical unit for data redundancy and performance improvement. Choosing the right RAID configuration is crucial for balancing data protection, performance, and storage capacity. Our free RAID calculator simplifies this decision-making process, helping you find the optimal setup for your needs.

How to Use the RAID Calculator
Get personalized results tailored to your specific hardware and needs. Our RAID calculator tool allows you to calculate storage capacity and performance for RAID 0, RAID 1, RAID 5, RAID 6, RAID 10, RAID 50, RAID 51, RAID 60, RAID 61, and RAID 5E/5EE
Select Disk Size and Add Disks
Choose a hard disk size from the available options (1 TB to 16 TB) by clicking the corresponding button under "Add hard disks."
Click on the desired disk size buttons to add multiple disks of the same or different sizes to your RAID configuration.
Choose RAID Level and View Configuration
Use the dropdown menu to select your desired RAID level (e.g., RAID 1, RAID 6).
The "Server" section will display your current configuration of added hard disks.
Review Results and Adjust
The calculator will show available disk space, parity/protection space, and unused disk space based on your RAID selection.
Adjust your configuration by adding or removing disks or changing RAID levels to see how different setups affect your storage options. The calculator updates dynamically with each change.
