I contacted them for the third time, and once again, they saved ALL my data. I struggled with recovery programs for two weeks; these programs scanned the disk for 2–3 days at a time but kept reporting bad blocks on the surface, making it impossible to read them myself. I could have lost over 300GB of incredibly valuable data. Huge thanks to the team! While I did end up paying three times the cost of the HDD itself, the data was worth much more.
