I had never experienced problems with my hard drive before but there’s always a first time. When it happened I immediately started searching for a company to recover data stored on it. Several labs came up but SALVAGEDATA caught my attention with their website and most importantly reviews from people they had helped. Many places might offer similar services but the real question is whether they can truly deliver professional results as was the case here (complete confidentiality of your files). Every case is unique. For example in my situation the chance of recovery was estimated at 60% due to the damaged hard drive. I am thrilled to report that everything was successfully restored. The key when dealing with HD problems is not to "force" drive as this could cause further damage to the hardware. Based on my experience with the company I’d confidently say you might never hear them promise 100% recovery as that could create unrealistic expectations. However in 100% of cases I believe 97% recovery can be considered nearly complete. Given complexity of this work team delivered impressively quickly (just five days). One tip: if you ever need to use data recovery services bring a spare hard drive/flash drive to speed up the process. Finding skilled data recovery specialists is no easy task. I’m a system administrator at a large company and unfortunately we don’t have the time necessary equipment, or most importantly the experience required to recover SSD drives. At first information and uncertainty of whether they would be able to recover all of my information was somewhat confusing. I sent them an array of 6 Nas drives in RAID5 and they were able to recover all data without any problems. I never sent information to a refurbishment lab so cost was quite high but information was worth it in the end)
