Very unorganized. Went in for help applying to Social security-with the SOARS program. At the time they had Julia who was the Snohomish county person trained to assist with the whole process. I believe they no longer provide this service. However, she moved on & I have no idea where I'm at or what's going on in the process. No contact to reach out to there & Julia never responded to finishing it up. I know it's a new location & they were still setting up, but it was very odd. All of the employees talk about personal stuff & are not very friendly. During my appointment they left an unhoused couple outside in the freezing temperatures waiting for their appointment.. & the male was just like, "oh should I let them in..??" After they sat outdoors (snowy season last year) for quite awhile. Just kind of odd arrangement there, for being in a position of "advocating" & supporting a vulnerable community I found them lacking in compassion & professionalism. Also I inquired about the Peer counseling scholarships & did receive an email response that their scholarships covered half of the cost. Housing is lacking in responsiveness as well. * I did not receive other services

I have been volunteering to help the local unhoused population over the past five years. Advocates Recovery Service has been an amazing asset for referrals to assist people in getting the help that they need to better their lives. They create a warm and supportive environment, truly care about their clients, and go above and beyond to help people every step of the way to regain their life and livelihood. They are professional, yet down to Earth, respectful of their clients, and treat everyone with the dignity and kindness they deserve. They are engaged in the community actively doing outreach, providing services such as food distribution events, training, and recognizing the success of others as they achieve their goals. I definitely recommend Advocates Recovery Services to anyone struggling with addiction looking to make a positive change in their life, or anyone who wants to support a friend or family member that is facing addiction.

I have lived in Advocates Recovery Services housing since 2023. I'm beyond grateful for all the staff. They have gone above and beyond for not just me but for other members in the organization, The staff,housing directors and house managers care sincerely about the members. They show kindness and compassion and really do listen and show they care.They have been there for me and continue to be there for me. I'm forever grateful to them.

My case manager John at The Advocates helped restore me back to what I gave up over 2 years ago and that was a place to live. I am grateful for the support and efforts to restore me. It took some time and patience but it was worth it in the end. I would recommend The Advocates to anyone who has been in my situation. I no longer have to worry about where I am going to live and that’s thanks to John and The Advocates.

They have … More 3 Nathan Collins Local Guide·27 reviews·75 photos 10 months ago Shady house managers and inconsistent and waffling board members and upper management staff I Steven Cejka After being placed in their hotel program and assured by Robert Smiley that everything would go okay and that all my medical appointments would be taken care of and they would help me set them up and get to them for which they did none of that, I was there for almost 8 months and the only support I got was when I called Robert and he would ask them meaning Esther and Joseph to set my appointments and get me transferred to them but they never follow through with anything and I did not want to bother Robert anymore but they ended up getting me moved out of the hotel even though I still have not got the surgery on my hernia my shoulder or my knee and let's be stranded. These are not good people they are not honest.
