I had no trouble understanding process of recovering my 8 TB hard drive. In my case recovery took just over a 2 week. Keep in mind that your waiting time may depend on how busy they are. I didn’t use their website; instead I decided to call and visit. Person I spoke with was very kind and patient with me. Most importantly they guided me through procedure to recover my data and helping me prioritize what to focus on first and what to sort out. Overall I’m happy to have my data back.I paid a significant amount for mistake of not having a backup. That said it shouldn’t deter anyone from using this service it’s worth it in an emergency

We gave SalvageData an almost impossible task : recovering data from 6 RAID disks that were 10 years old partially reformatted from their original state and completely out of sequence. Odds of success were practically zero and we had resigned ourselves to losing a significant portion of 6 tb of data. Given how critical this data was we were prepared to pay any price to recover even a fraction of it. What we ended up receiving and price they charged were simply astonishing. Not only did they reorder and reformat disks without any data loss but they also delivered recovered data in the exact structure it was meant to be. This level of expertise and commitment is rare.
