Brad recovered my data and returned it to me in less than 24 hrs. Don't waste your time at Geek Squad/Best Buy if you need data recovery. I didn't have to mail my computer anywhere, risking it being lost in the mail process. If you are in the Houston area, it is a no brainer to use 911 Data Recovery. Fast & a fair price.

Thanks Brad for your response. I'm moving to 4 stars based on your effort to provide me some insight. Again, the work was great. I'm pretty sure we have 100% of over 20k in family photos you recovered. You might consider a bit more on your process and pricing page that helps people understand the potential cost of this service. I would have gone in with a different perspective and been prepared a bit more for the fees. At the end of the day, the $1500 was completely worth getting back 20+ years of memories. While I appreciate the expertise and the work they did in recovering what appears to be all our personal photos on a damaged external hard drive, I have to say that I felt like I was misled on pricing and put in a position where I had no choice. The pricing starts at below $200, but I ended up paying $1500 total. After paying a $100 lab fee to have them disassemble my hard drive in the clean room, they asked for an additional $1400 to actually recover my data. As a long time tech employee, I believe that I would have tremendously risked the recovery of my data if I had not agreed to terms and asked for my drive back to use a different service provider. I have no experience with this type of service and I truly appreciate the work in recovering our family photos, I simply feel i was taken advantage of on pricing.

911 Data Recovery is AMAZING. Not only do they provide a great computer repair service to the Conroe/Montgomery area, but they are wonderful, giving people. Owner Brad Schlerf donated a huge pile of old computers to a non-profit organization a family member of mine started, Teaching Haiti.
