I am so glad that I decided to contact Secure Data Recovery, LLC , about my external hard drive that I could not get to work. I gave them a call and they let me know of a store that was in my area that participated in sending my hard drive to Secure Data. Jet Leonard from Secure gave me a number to take with me to the store. Jet was so helpful over the phone and sent me emails to explain everything about getting it to them and what the cost would be. I had contacted my son who is a computer programmer and he let me know that even though the cost is a little high for an individual to pay, and not a business the task is the same. Having to insure it is in a clean room, removing the reading arm and the chips inside and not scratching things and losing possible data. The experience of the professionals is what you are paying for. They retrieve very priceless personal data to me and my wife. Pictures of my sons and their families over the years, as well as poems, music, tax info, and many other pictures of trips with my wife over years. I received all of the information that was on my disc. It was completed very quickly and the customer service treated me wonderful.
