I had a very poor and frustrating 1.5 month experience with Ontrack. One of their specialist Ashley providing me the wrong information and continued to hound me for two weeks to make a decision. Turns out, the info she provided was wrong and when I addressed it with her, she didn't apologize for misleading me. I asked to connect with her supervisor Shaun and ended up working with him instead even though a new specialist was assigned to my drive. I continued to receive automated messages from Ashley and had to ask her to stop as I was already connected with a new specialist. Unfortunately, Jonathan never communicated with me throughout the three weeks and it was only Shaun who continued to provide any updates. The only time Jonathan decided to communicate with me was three weeks later when my drive was done. Within 12hrs, I received multiped automated messages to make payment. I made payment within 48 hours and four business days later, I still received an email from their AR team that I had an invoice due. Absolutely frustrating. I am grateful they were able to retrieve majority of my files but wow, the entire process was long and frustrating. If there was another company who could do this, I would have worked with them instead. Three different places told me upfront that if they couldn't do it, they would send it to Ontrack. All roads lead back to Ontrack it appears. I am shocked to read such great reviews bc it was NOT my experience. They either over communicate via their automated messaging systems or they don't communicate at all. They will demand you to make payment immediately. Shout out to Shaun who actually provided real information. EDIT TO ADD: the owner below claims the invoice I received was confirmation of the paid invoice but it was not. It was a request for payment. After I confirmed I payment, then I received confirmation email. Again, no apology for their terrible service.

I completely smashed my cell phone and had years of family pictures on there that were not backed up. Sent it in to OnTrack and, minus the recovery being pricy, they pulled every bit of data off my phone and sent it to me on a 1TB SSD. The process was quick and really easy. Highly recommended if you have any data recovery needs.

This company is amazing! From the initial consultation to the final delivery of the recovered files, they were professional and patient. They communicated frequently and the whole process was very easy to track. They also allow you to see how many files they would be able to recover, before you decide to finish the transaction with them. I am so glad I went with KLD Ontrack. It was worth the investment.

Very friendly people and very fast. They did get my hard drive open and told me how may files I had on it. I was surprised. I did have an old hard drive up to 2024 that I put back into my computer so I was able to get my machines running. I only lost 1 1/2 years of graphics. I decided to not have them retrieve it for me because I am a 1 person company and figured that since I had the old drive I could just redo the customers that I really need and scrap the one time things like boat numbers, etc. Thank you so much for trying

Extremely fast, extremely thorough. Straight forward pricing with no surprise charges. Communicative through every stage of recovery. And these guys did it for a quarter of the price the last data recovery service I tried wanted. I rarely leave reviews, but these guys are no joke.
