They have the best treatment counselors!! Jessica is the best ever. They really get into why you have an addiction. And ongoing relapse prevention programs. Also I go to therapy there and have had some real good breakthroughs and processing past trauma. Because really bottom line trauma is what brings us here.

I have had an amazing experience working with Genesis Recovery Center now sober 11 months and I'm so grateful for all the help I received! GRC has a very homie compassionate understanding & fun environment with a lot of resources and support! If you're struggling with addiction I highly recommend giving it A try!

please rewrite this review: I can't believe I haven't written a review yet! Well, here it is...I have my life back because this place exists. Kathy Javis, the owner of this amazing place, found me at a time in life when I was on the verge of giving up. A time when I was lost and didn't know where to turn. I was hopeless, ashamed, terrified....defeated. Kathy listen to me. She heard me. Care cared about me. She stood by my side as I was mauled over by life. When I felt like giving up she was there to remind me how far I had come and she kept my mind focused on the rewards. Kathy was able to see the person I was inside and she looked passed the person who was addicted. I was with Kathy for nearly 4 years of my life. She helped me through the pain of what I now know was abuse. She helped me find my confidence back, she helped me find reasons to smile. She taught me to stand up for myself and helped me with setting boundaries, she taught me that I didn't have to live in fear. Because of Kathy, today I am happier than I ever knew was possible. There are no words to empress my gratitude to her. She saved my life and she saved my daughters' lives. She gave me the gift of a lifetime. This kind of gift is rare. If you are lucky enough to have found yourself on this website, I pray that you are able to recognize that your gift of a lifetime is right in front of you. Don't let it pass you by. These kinds of gifts don't happen for everyone. God Bless You. I just want to add that the entire staff here at Genesis was absolutely wonderful. They became family. Lastly, if you see any bad reviews..please know that the complaints that they have are their own. They have not found they higher ground yet. They still have work to do....just sayin'.

2 months into the 3 month program I requested to be transfered to another counselor. Instead of transferring me they discharged me and said I'm welcome to start over. Money hungry greedy program, worst iop I've been to. If you need help go somewhere else. They are neglectful of their duties and the groups are a joke, feels muddled together with no effort.

Was going to come here for therapy, except they wanna lie to me. I was told on more than on occasion I was starting therapy this morning, I did not it was an assessment. That would've been fine but that's not what they told me I was getting. I have loads of trauma I need to be working on straight up lying to me about what I am getting is the biggest red flag I've ever seen. If they're not gonna be honest to you about what care you're getting you definitely shouldn't go. Edit to add: I called the number and I honestly don't believe it's even a real number. It rang for a minute straight, no voicemail, on human, nothing just endless ringing so I hung up. If you're going to offer communication at least have the decency to give a real working number
