Many years ago I had some surgeries. Sadly like so many others I was put on heavy pain killers for an extended time. I wasn't weined off properly and unfortunately met addiction head on. I woke up one morning and felt like I had the flu. It lasted for days and I was so sick I thought I was going to die. Someone told me I was going through withdrawals. Pills were easy to find as so many others were going through addiction. Back then the Dr's handed them out like candy, but never weined anyone off properly. Pills were easy to find but good care wasn't, at least not where I lived at the time. I surched and tried to find help. I started to drink with the hopes it would help with the withdrawals, but sadly I got stuck with two addictions. I battled back and forth for years, until I found SaVida. I'm happy to say I've been clean for years and I had some drinks during a depression but I've taken care of that again with support. I have an old injury that is only getting worse, but I refuse to have the surgery and be put back on pain meds. After talking with SaVidas staff it was recommended that I go back on the Subucade monthly injection for pain management. My personal physician agreed. It was nice not being on anything but the injection helps enormously with my pain and it doesn't interfere with my everyday life, work and personality. It is so much better than the alternative miserable life. Sadly my story is the same as so many others that found themselves in a similar place. I was fortunate to have some great, family, friends an amazing partner, and she has been my rock. With the professional, caring help of the staff of SaVida and faith in God my life has been so much better for many years. Anyone who is struggling should take the first step and call SaVida. From the moment you walk in the door to the providers that will guide you and there is even counciling, that I've taken advantage to speak with during tough times. The office is very clean, professional and welcoming which also makes a big difference. I normally would keep quiet about my journey or only share with my small amazing circle of lived ones, but if my story can help even only one person it's worth my time to share. Lol omg I feel like an advertisement for SaVida but anyone can start over with the right help and that can start with SaVida. I read this on their wall and it will always stick with me. Awesome staff. Super friendly. Exceptionally knowledgeable. Really focused (and it shows) on keeping you as comfortable through this process as possible, they seem to understand how stressful it can be. I highly recommend savida.

Staff is so wonderful and goes above and beyond for the patients. Have heard many people talk very highly of Jon Whitney and all the other staff there. Would recommend to anyone looking for a MAT clinic near Worcester

Everyone is friendly, caring and the PA takes her time with you, will trouble shoot issues with you and she is always there when you need someone to talk to about anything!
