ES-6600 SCSI/SATA RAID with RAID 6

Flexible administration of inexpensive data capacity is made possible by EUROstor´s new SATA RAID series . To give an example: RAID sets can be divided into different volumes, each of them with a different RAID level. Thus different security and speed levels can be defined for each kind of data. With RAID 6 feature two disks per RAID set are enough to provide an optimum of security: up to two disks can fail at the same time without the risk of loosing data. RAID 6 is implemented on the controller ASICs, which is important, because high security needs computing power.
