ES-8200 FC/SAS (and SATA) RAID

As opposed to the ES-6200 series of SATA RAIDs the new ES-8200 seires also supports Serial Attached SCSI (SAS) disks. These highly performant disks with 15,000 rpm make these RAIDs a perfect match for database and other i/o intensive applications. In this RAID system RAIDsets with SAS und others with SATA disks can exist at the same time, making it easy to assign fast SAS or inexpensive SATA storage to each application according to their individual requirements. Systems with 16 disks have an external SAS port to expanr with JBODs.
